Ergo Omni 360

Disclosure: I received this product in exchange for a review; however, my review is 100% my honest opinion.

Hi Ya’ll! We headed out of town for our WEDDING in November, if you’re on my Instagram you’ve been spammed with those pictures!! The wedding was amazing and the trip was much needed during our house remodel. I have to say though the struggle of the airport, security, and boarding would have been a lot harder without our Ergo Omni 360. If you’ve read my tips and tricks for flying with a baby than you know that I recommend the Ergo to carry your little one around the airport. I was sent the new Ergo Omni 360 to try out and I have to say I love it even more than the Ergo 360. Both carries are comfortable and I would be happy with either but the Omni 360 has some new added feature that I really enjoy.

Some of the features that I think other parents will love is the option for crossable back straps, this allowed me to feel more comfortable and I felt like I have more support for my little girl. No back pain for this momma!

Highlights of the OMNI 360:

  • The OMNI 360 is easy to switch for forward facing; we had a harder time buttoning and positioning Emersyn in the Ergo 360.
  • There is great lumbar support so that you feel comfortable and your back doesn’t start to hurt.
  • There are Crossable straps in the back for a better fit.
  • Unlike the Ergo 360 the Ergo Omni 360 does not require an infant insert
  • There is a storage pouch that is included which is great for pacifiers, phones, keys, just about anything little you may need.

The fabric is easy to clean too! Also, if you have a little one who is teething, invest in the 360 Carrier Drool Pad & Bib! Emresyn enjoyed chewing the front of ours!

We have had both the Ergo 360 and the Ergo Omni 360 and we have loved both, the carriers are comfortable for both baby and parent. The Omni 360 allows for you to customize your fit a little better. My husband liked the option of the crossable straps when he wore her.

Overall, this brand is excellent and continues to make products that create a great experience for baby and parents and I would recommend them to anyone!

Motherlove Diaper Balm

Disclosure: I received this product in exchange for a review; however, my review is 100% my honest opinion.

Hi Y’all! Does anyone else’s baby have a red bum almost every day? Ever since Emersyn was little she gets a little red bum at least once a day, especially now since she switched to solids. We have tried countless products and the only one that seems to work is a concoction that the doctor had us make. Only downside is there are so many chemicals in that concoction. Like I have said many times before, I try to be as aware as I can be of what I’m putting on my baby. If you read my blog than you know that I recently tried the Motherlove More Milk Plus. As I mentioned in that blog post, this company has tons of products which also include a diaper balm. I figured if their More Milk Plus works, I’m sure all of their other products will too! When I looked at the ingredients it was a no brainer that I wanted to try the Motherlove Diaper Balm. There are exactly seven ingredients, and of those seven ingredients four of them are certified organic. I was sold; I had to give it a shot!

When I received my diaper balm, it was packed so beautifully in a blue drawstring bag. I immediately opened it and started using it on Emersyn’s hiney. The next diaper change her booty wasn’t as red and by the second diaper change there was no more red hiney! Y’all a natural diaper rash cream that works, I didn’t think that was possible.

Also, all of the cloth diaper momma’s out there, this diaper balm is safe to use! There is no zinc oxide in this diaper cream so it won’t ruin the fibers in the cloth diaper.

And of course knowing me, I researched this product and found that people have used the Motherlove Diaper Balm to treat thrush!! Several women put this diaper balm on their nipples before breastfeeding and it helped stop the passing of the thrush back and forth from baby to mom. (All of these ingredients are safe to ingest!)

I love that we live in a time where there are safe products for us to put on our babies, and on top of that safe products that works. If you still haven’t checked out the Motherlove website, just simply click this link ( Motherlove) and go explore. There are so many good products and a great staff ready to answer any questions you may have.

**This company is cruelty free!

The ingredients include: extra virgin olive oil*, beeswax*, oregon grape root, myrrh gum, yarrow herb*, calendula flower* (* indicates Certified Organic Ingredients)

Snuggled Up, Nested Bean Style

Disclosure: I received this product in exchange for a review; however, my review is 100% my honest opinion.

Hi Y’all! My daughter has always been a good sleeper. Ever since she was two months old she has been sleeping at least 8 hours a night. We are blessed!! When she was a newborn she would sleep with her swaddle and then she grew too big for them. We exchanged her swaddle for a blanket, I know gasps and oh no’s can ensue. I’ve read countless articles about why this is bad and I’ve seen countless stories of babies strangling themselves, so I axed the blanket at night. I didn’t want anything to happen that was preventable. Emersyn started waking up because she was cold and wanted to be snuggled.

I had seen the advertisements on Facebook for Nested Bean Zen Sack Classic and figured I should give it a try. The Nested Bean is designed to make the baby think that the mother or father’s hand is still near. There is a light weighted area on their chest that resembles the touch of their parent. This helps baby sleep longer too!

My little girl never sleeps in one spot; she gets that from her momma. I will put her down at the front of her crib and somehow she wakes up on the other side of the crib. I love the Nested Bean Zen Sack because I don’t have to worry about blankets coming off and her little body getting cold. She also loves her Nested Bean Sleep Sack. She calms down as soon I put her in her sleep sack. She knows it’s a part of her bedtime routine. As a mom, there are so many sleep sacks to choose from. I would definitely choose the nested Bean every time. The adjustable snaps at the top will allow my daughter to grow with it and the material is soft and breathable.

If you’re a mom looking for a sleep sack, go check out their website, Nested Bean !  There are tons of cute designs and this purchase can mean longer naps, sleeping through the night, and more sleep for momma and daddy!

Flip, Stick, Tether

Disclosure: I received this product in exchange for a review; however, my review is 100% my honest opinion.

Hi y’all! I come to you today with probably the greatest invention that I’ve recently discovered. Two weeks ago I was attempting to eat dinner while Emersyn played the game of, let’s see how many times I can throw this toy on the floor. She thought it was so much fun, I on the other hand had the pleasure of constantly picking the toys up. Later that night I happened to be browsing Instagram when I came across a product called, Grapple. The Grapple Toy Tether is a silicone apple shaped toy that you can suction to a highchair, window, table, just about any flat surface!  When the apple flips up there are little tethers that come out that you can strap toys to. I was intrigued and was pretty sure I found the answer to my prayers.  I clicked on their website and read the story of how the Grapple came about. A mom and dad sitting at their dinner table growing tired of picking up toys that their little one would throw on the floor. If this doesn’t describe every family with a baby than I would be shocked.

When we received the product it was super easy to figure out. You simply flip the top of the apple up and unravel the tethers, attach your toys, stick to a flat surface, and bam you have taken away the fun throw and pick up game! I truly and honestly love this product; it has helped make highchair time so much easier. If you can’t tell from the pictures, Emersyn also loves the Grapple!

I believe in small shops and also regular people making a product to solve an issue they are familiar with as a parent. This product came from parents who wanted to find a solution to something that all parents go through.

The cost isn’t bad either, only $19.99 to save your sanity!

If you’re pregnant or currently have a little one go to, Grapple Toy Tether and look around. I promise you will want to try the Grapple out. This will be one of my gifts for every baby shower I go to! Anyone else use and love the Grapple?

Motherlove To The Resuce

Disclosure: I received this product in exchange for a review; however, my review is 100% my honest opinion.

Hi Y’all! I want to talk about something that many momma’s experience while they are breastfeeding, a drop in your milk supply. I noticed mine about two weeks ago. I went from pumping enough milk for the day for my babe down to about 17oz. My first reaction was to panic and take to Pinterest. I searched the best supplements to take for a drop in supply. That is when I came across Motherlove products. I read up about the company and found that their supplements were all made from certified organic herbs, and the reviews were fantastic.  I immediately sent an email about one of their products I saw. To my much appreciated surprise, I got a quick response asking several other questions to figure out what could attribute to my drop.

  • What are the indications that your supply has decreased?
  • How many times are you breastfeeding in a 24 hour period?
  • Have you had a good supply up until this point?
  • Are you working with a lactation consultant?
  • How old is your baby and how many ounces does she get per feeding?
  • Have you night weaned or how many hours are you going between feeds in the middle of the night?
  • Have you checked your pump parts to make sure they are working correctly?
  • Do your nipples hurt when you pump?

All of these questions that were asked helped Motherlove determine which lactation supplement was best for my situation. After I answered those questions, the lactation counselor informed me that their, More Milk Plus, was the best supplement for my drop in milk production. The day I received the pills I immediately took two, she informed me that I should see an increase within the first 24-48 hours. And thank the good Motherlove heavens above I did. I saw on average an extra ounce per pumping session.

This company has so many products to choose from and even better they have a qualified staff to help you choose the best one for you. They have 3 Certified Lactation Counselors on staff with aim to understand the root of the low milk supply issue. “We also work closely with health care professionals, such as IBCLCs, Pediatricians, OBGYNs, in hospitals and private practice settings. We feel that having this dedicated lactation training goes above and beyond and ultimately helps the mom be able to feed her baby!”- Motherlove Lactation counselor

They also have an abundance of pre and postnatal products, you can find them here  Motherlove. They have several products for breastfeeding, pregnancy, birth and baby!

I’m so grateful for companies like Motherlove, who take the time to get to know the mom before suggesting a solution. The entire time I felt like this was more than just a company trying to push products. They truly care about each mother and I will gladly purchase their products.

BootayBag

Disclosure: I received this product in exchange for a review; however, my review is 100% my honest opinion.

Ever since my daughter was born I have stopped shopping for myself. Honestly, I think I’ve bought a total of 5 new things for myself since she’s been born. The days of jumping in the car and running to the mall or store are over. However, I realized I can still stay at home and get a little something special in the mail for me every month. This is even more convenient than online shopping every month because you don’t even have to think about it, because let’s be honest we would probably forget. I’m talking about the BootayBag. Whoever invented this idea is probably my new favorite person.

You simply go to BootayBag and click on the JOIN icon at the top

You then select which style, whether you like thongs, cheeky, or mix it up, then click HOOK ME UP

Honestly, you could set up your monthly subscription faster than it takes your toddler to finish a story they’re telling you.

This company is beyond amazing, from the moment I placed my order until the moment I received it, I had constant contact with someone from the company. Having a mom brain, I accidently typed our address incorrectly and within an hour they messaged me stating it was changed no problem.  They even sent me a Facebook message when my package shipped! And that’s not all, after you receive your sexy little undies post an instagram picture (no, you don’t have to be in them..) and #undermatters and they will donate a $1 to the charity they chose that month. This month my hashtag helped donate $1 to the Melanoma Foundation.

Convience, quality, and sexy. Those are the three words I would use to desciribe BootayBag. Honestly, with our busy schedule now and days, half of us are still walking around wearing underwear form five years ago. (yeah, I’m talking to you) And for just $12/month you could get two new pairs! Also, don’t forget to check out their cute little bralettes. You can add those to your subscription too! (extra charge does apply for a bralette) Plus how can you beat $12 for 2 pairs of undies?! Go look at their website and sign up, trust me when that package arrives and you slip on those undies it will be like a whole new you.

Wink Naturals Review

Disclosure: I received this product in exchange for a review; however, my review is 100% my honest opinion.

Hi Y’all! I hope everyone is having a great week so far. As many parents may relate, my little love gets diaper rash pretty much every week. We have tried tons of different remedies (including one from the doctor, I’ll share that next week!) I came across an ad for Wink Naturals. I read all about this company and decided to contact them to see if I could review their Bum Balm. There are several things I love about this company. I love that this company uses natural ingredients, as you know from my other posts, I’m very aware of what I put on Emersyn’s little body and I want to be careful what I expose her too. The next thing I love about this company is the customer experience; it is extremely easy to get in touch with them to ask any questions you may have.

While investigating some of the other products they make, I found the Wink Naturals, Cool Gums Teething Gel. Normally, I would never recommend a teething gel like orajel. Usually those teething gels cause the gums to get harder and makes your little one have a lot more discomfort.

A couple of things caught my eye when looking at the ingredients:

  • No preservatives or unnecessary additives
  • Natural and 100% Drug-free. NO Benzocaine or Belladonna in our safe formula!

I figured, I should try it, plus they had a promo going where the two tubes were free, I just paid shipping. (Who could beat a better deal?!)

Like I said before, this company’s customer experience is wonderful! Upon packing out my order the company actually texted me letting me know my product was about to ship. And no this isn’t just an automated text; this was a live person responding to me. I have never had that experience before and I loved it!

Product Review:

Bum Balm- My little girl seems to always have a red bum. Some days are much worse than others, especially since she started getting baby food. I used the bum balm for a week to make sure I had the best possible results. I wanted this to work so badly, and it does, but only for the day to day diaper rash. Unfortunately, when Emmie’s hiney got really bad it just didn’t do the trick. With that being said, every baby’s skin is different, just because it didn’t work for Emmie’s diaper rash doesn’t mean it won’t work for your little ones bum. Plus the company has a 100% money back guarantee if you aren’t happy, so there really is no loss in purchasing the product to try.

Cool Gums Teething Gel- This a product we will definitely continue to use on Emersyn. She was a little fussy on Saturday and I think it’s because her gums were bothering her. I put a pee sized amount of the gel on my finger and rubbed her top gums. It seemed to have done the trick! Also, major plus, it smells like mint! I would definitely recommend getting this gel. Like I stated before it doesn’t contain those chemicals that actually cause their gums to become harder making the teething process more painful for your little one.

This was my personal experience with just a few of Wink Naturals products. Please feel free to ask any questions about the products that I may not have answered. Wink Naturals offers several other products, you can check them out at Wink Naturals Website.

Milk Snob

Disclosure: I received this product in exchange for a review; however, my review is 100% my honest opinion.

Hi y’all! I have a confession to make, before last week I was a Milk Snob newbie. I had heard about their products but I never used them.  I contacted the company and they ever so graciously sent me a Milk Snob cover to try out. My life has changed, and no I’m not just being dramatic. This cover has made my life 100 times easier. I was a newbie to the Milk Snob covers but I did use nursing covers before. I have the ones that just covered you in the front and had a strap around your neck. I hated them. I mean what’s the point of a nursing cover when people can see completely in the side?! I never had that issue with my Milk Snob nursing cover; it gave me full coverage along with being a breathable material so Em didn’t feel smothered. To my surprise though, this isn’t JUST a nursing cover, this is a multi-use cover. I made a quick trip to target and went to put Emersyn in the cart when I remembered that my cover also doubles as a cart cover! Thank goodness that we had it in the diaper bag because Emersyn is chewing on everything, and the last thing she needed in her mouth was an uncovered shopping cart. Ew!

I really should stop calling it a nursing cover though because there are so many different uses for it. It’s a car seat cover, which allows you to peak in at the top without having to completely uncover them. This cover is also a high chair cover. Germ freaks like me can appreciate this, I used to work at a restaurant in high school and restaurants do not properly sanitize those things! And if that wasn’t enough to convince you, it’s also a swing cover! Anything you could possible need, this cover does. I can’t give you enough positive feedback. As a mom I would never recommend a product that I don’t love myself and I can truly say, that I LOVE this product. Another added bonus, it’s affordable!!  Being a momma is expensive, babies need a lot of things and this cover will not break the budget. (Check them out yourself www.milksnob.com)

An even bigger bonus is Milk Snob has so many prints to choose from!! I had a tough time picking which one I wanted. (even more of a reason to order several!) Go check them out, and trust me if you order one, you will NOT regret it.

Don’t Bite!

Hi Y’all! Ever since I was little I have been a mosquito magnet. It’s insane; I will be outside for 5 minutes and have at least 4 bites. They like my blood and love to feed on me. Yuck!! When we planned our visit to New Jersey I knew we would be outside a lot so on to Google I went. I tried to find the best mosquito repellent for Emersyn that I could find. I know that babies aren’t supposed to have Deet and the sprays aren’t the best because they breathe it in. I wasn’t opposed to the bracelet bug repellents, but Emmie eats everything and I didn’t want her sucking on the repellent. (YUCK) This leads me to the best bug replant I found. It’s called Simba Natural Mosquito Repellent Sticker. These stickers come in a pack of 16 and they have citronella and lemon extract. I was weary that they wouldn’t work because it’s a sticker, but to my surprise they did! Emmie didn’t get bit at all, nothing. (Maybe I should have worn all 16 stickers!) The stickers come in a resalable pouch and the individual stickers are good for up to 72 hours. I will warn you though; the smell when you first open the resalable bag is very strong. However, when you put the individual sticker on your child, it isn’t overwhelming.

This is the best option that I found that worked for us, I liked that it wasn’t a spray or lotion that had to be applied to her skin.  Any momma’s find another bug repellent they found works for their little?
